There's a sense of pride in being a Christian, but sometimes we lose that. I don't know why, and I don't know what does it, but we just slip into this lethargy and apathy that truly stinks. It just sucks out all the enthusiasm of being a child of Christ! A warrior for God! A princess of the King! After dinner my Dad read the passage in the Bible that talks about bragging about being a Christian, not what you own. And that we should desire Christ over all our physical possessions. That's REALLY hard. I mean how can we shift our view from earthly to heavenly when we hardly have a passion for His name anymore? Partly because society expects us to be "neutral" and not be proud of our beliefs because we might "offend" someone. And also because we genuinely are afraid...I mean we live in a FREE nation, why does fear drive our decisions so much? Why do we submit to it's power, when really it's power seems awfully pale compared to the vibrancy of Christ's power that COMPELS us. Insane.

I hope that I am strong enough and brave enough to brag about Christ's name and what he's done for me.

Who's with me?
